Interesting data but some 15 years out of date.There are lists of households and their addresses that go with this Burke's Peerage World Book of Whitesides. It does not include variation in the clan name. It is too bad we can not update this information. The Burke's Peerage no longer produce the World Books.

In the book they have a full page on a coat of arms and its meaning. The trouble is that it is the coat of arms of the Family #710 which hardly represents the whole clan. Although not officially recognized our WFA coat of arms does represent the whole Whytsyd clan and all its variations.

NB: All of these population figures are backed up by lists of households in every place that they found a family address.
