MEMBERS: You may have trouble logging in. We have moved the website to a new Web Host with better security and systems.

The new web site insists on strong passwords for the security of all users. This is a two step process. As of August 14 we have sent all members a temporary passord to log in. So FIRST use the temporary password and log in. After logging in successfully, go to your member page and change the password to your own strong password.

If you still can not log in, please contact us and we will give you the temporary password aain.

To obtain a temporary strong password to allow you to login to the site please email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Just copy and paste the temporary password into the login password field.

To change your password:

When you successfully login, you should be taken automatically to Your Profile page. If not, click on Your Profile in the User Menu.

Click on the Update Your Profile link in the Edit drop-down menu at the top of the Your Profile page.

Click on the Contact Info tab

Enter your new strong password

If you want, update any other information in these forms. Your picture would be good.

When you're finished, click Update at the bottom of the page.

That's it!

Now a lesson in Strong passwords:

This is important and you should consider this for all of your password use on the internet. There are a lot of bad guys out there.

"Strong" passwords have:

  • No spaces
  • At least six characters
  • Contain lower and upper case letters
  • Contain numbers and special signs

Here are a couple of examples of phrases that help you remember strong passwords. Think of one that is meaningful to you and that you will be likely to remember.

mdFr4tb = my dog Fido runs for(4) tennis balls

UCah6ohm = Uncle Charlie always has sex(6) on his mind

LnI82mic = Last night I ate(8) too(2) much ice cream

Keep in mind too that your browser can remember your password for you.

Microsoft has a good page about strong passwords and ideas for remembering them: http://www.microsoft.com/protect/yourself/password/create.mspx

This is an excellent article and notice the place to Test Your Password at (6), "Password Checker."
